Die Casting Technology (RNC, RIC)
|
Proprietary Technology |
|
Leveraging long-established technologies, the Ryobi New Casting
(RNC) die casting production system makes extremely strong, high-quality die cast
products possible by dramatically reducing internal defects. In addition, Ryobi
is developing many high-quality die cast components for diverse functions using
proprietary technologies such as the collapsible Ryobi Imperva Core (RIC), the
technology for the die casting of hollow structures, and high-vacuum casting of
specialty aluminum alloys for welding and heat treatment.

RNC PROCESS
(Ryobi New Casting) Ryobi has originated die casting system to stably produce heavy wall products that require high strength and to enable them to undergo T6 heat treatment, which we call RNC Process. RNC Process can reduce gas inclusions, shrinkage and scattered chill structure with use of laminar flow filling and RSV vacuum system that Ryobi developed. |

RIC
(Ryobi Imperva Core) Collapsible core originated by Ryobi permits high-speed, high-pressure die castings. Castings produced through die casting process with this core provides higher productivity, higher dimensional accuracy and finer cast surface in comparison with those through gravity casting, low pressure casting, etc. ![]() |
