Image Area Caluculating Software
[Ink Volume Setter/Ink Volume Setter-CIP4(PPF)]
- Making effective use of pre-press data can dramatically reduce the labor involved in adjusting ink fountain keys prior to production printing.
- The image area ratio data is calculated by data or file created through prepress process, and then converted by the Printing Control System to preset the ink fountain keys.
- Data from DEMIA (Device for Measuring Image Area of Plate) can also be used with the Printing Control System
RYOBI Program Inking
- RYOBI Program Inking automatically supplies ink to ink rollers to match the image from the early start of printing.
- After the set number of prints are finished, the ink on the rollers is automatically restored to an even state.

Printing Density Control System [RYOBI PDS/RYOBI PDS-E/ RYOBI PDS-E AUTO/RYOBI PDS-E Spectro/RYOBI PDS-E Spectro AUTO]
- The RYOBI PDS, RYOBI PDS-E Spectro and RYOBI PDS-E Spectro AUTO measure the color bar of the printed sheet using special sensors in a spectrophotometer
(densitometer is used for PDS-E and PDS-E AUTO).
- Values needed to correct color densities to match those of the OK sheet are calculated and provided as feedback to the RYOBI Printing Control System which, in turn, makes appropriate adjustments in the openings of the ink fountain keys.
