The RYOBI RP740-425AUTO high-precision CCD camera detects plate
register marks exposed during plate making. It then measures the plate's overall
image skew, and after its internal motors correct plate positioning laterally,
vertically and diagonally, it finally punches the plate.

Punching requires no special skill and drastic reduction of
plate register adjustment work on the press shortens make-ready time and realize
high quality printing with low cost. The plate punching which used to be done
before plate making can now be done automatically and precisely after plate making
by using image detection technology. This was highly evaluated in the examination.
Furthermore, as it only takes about 30 seconds to punch one plate, four separations
can be completed in as little as two minutes.

Furthermore, it was designed to match the color and design of
the pre-press equipments. And, the simple design placing the wiring and positioning
the panel display inside the cover enables operators to operate it safely. Symbols
which are understood worldwide were adopted for the indication on the color display.
All these were also highly evaluated.
