Effects of Recent Earthquake on the Ryobi Group

With all those who fell victim to the recent major earthquake in east Japan uppermost in its thoughts, the Ryobi Group's heartfelt wish is for reconstruction of the affected areas to be carried out as soon as possible.

The Ryobi Group confirms the following:

Personal injuries:
All Group employees and their families are unharmed.

Damage to property:
There was no significant damage such as a building collapse to Ryobi's production and sales bases in the Tohoku and Kanto areas. No major impact on production operations occurred.
