Making All People's Lives Comfortable with RUCAD
Able to support doors with electrically powered opening and closing mechanisms, the RUCAD electric door opening and closing device debuted in 2019, representing an expansion in conventional door closers' range of function. RUCAD addresses various user issues with doors, including having your hands full with luggage, the door itself being too heavy for manual manipulation, and wheelchair access.
By pairing with facial recognition systems, sensors, and other external systems, RUCAD has expanded general door opening functions, for example, allowing touchless opening and closing. At assisted living facilities and nursing homes, this increases convenience for wheelchair users and elderly people while helping to make more spaces barrier free. In offices, RUCAD can be paired with robots that perform cleaning and security services, enabling autonomous services in spaces separated by doors that robots had previously not been able to enter unassisted.
